“Our original AC unit, installed in 2005 at time of house construction, was performing poorly the last couple of years and the SRP bill was increasing as a result. After 12yrs it was time to replace the unit, especially since my wife and I had little confidence it would make it through the 2017 summer. This was in mid-April and we didn't want to wait until the heat of summer to get it replaced.
We researched quite a few companies, had some estimates and called Red Mountain as the last one to come out before making any decisions. The sales rep Tim came out on a Saturday morning, early in the time window he gave us for arrival. He even called to say he was nearby and arriving soon. He was, professional, personable, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. After a thorough walkthrough and check of the current system, Tim took plenty of time to explain our system's issues and several options for new units. We settled on a unit that fit our budget and needs. What we really appreciated was that he explained upgrade options BUT did not push to upsell them.
Tim had a crew at our house for the install that Wednesday morning (3 days after the estimate). Two excellent, friendly, professional techs showed up on time and a third joined them within 30 minutes. They were respectful of our home and laid down tarps to minimize dirt, worked hard and knocked the job out in 6.5hrs (with only one short break) and cleaned up perfectly when they were done. Although the install was fairly quick, they didn't rush the job and took the time to do it well.
Tim came out a week later to ensure everything was installed properly and working well. It was! What an amazing difference the unit made in both home comfort and energy savings (cut the bill almost in half from the previous summer). The office also followed up shortly after to check that we were satisfied with the job… and we were… still are!
This company is outstanding with performance and customer service (and pricing) all around, from the office, salespeople and technicians, which is becoming more rare these days. We highly recommend them for any AC needs, whether for a new install or maintenance service.
